At long last, the battle has ended. The most trending court case in Ghana 6gat has been going viral on social for several months now has finally come to an end.
Actress Rosemonde Brown who is popularly known as Akuapem Poloo has been sentenced to 90 days imprisonment by the Accra circuit court over posting naked pictures of her son and herself.
Akuapem Poloo went to the court on on Wednesday but escaped judgement when she said she was pregnant.
Following her claims for being pregnant, the court remanded her and asked her to go for a pregnancy test, the judge then adjourned the case to Friday, April 16, 2021.
Finally, the court sat down on the Friday, and tried the case once and for all. It was found that Akuapem Poloo was not pregnant as she said. The pregnancy test proved negative.
The actress wa also found guilty when she was charged for publication of obscene materials and engaging in domestic violence
According to the law court, Akwapim Poloo’s act is a conduct that undermines another person’s privacy or integrity.
And such conduct can detract or or is likely to detract from another person’s dignity and worth as a human being.
She has therefore been sentenced to 90 days imprisonment for posting naked pictures of herself and her son on on June 30, 2020 when her child was celebrating his seventh birthday.
