Review ECG’s Dumsor Time Table From 1st May
The Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG) has released the timetable for power outages for Greater Accra Region starting from May 2021.
This is a result of a project they are doing to improve the power supply reliability and system outages.
To facilitate the work of the contractors who are working on this project at various stages and times, the Ghana Grid Company (GRIDCO) and the Electricity Company of Ghana will interrupt our power supply.
According to the Electricity Company of Ghana, the power outages will exist between day and night from 6am to 6pm for eight days.
The affected areas which will be experiencing power outages are divided into four and here are they:
Group 1 – Power off on May 10 and May 14 during the day and power off at night on May 11, 15 and 17.
Sakaman, Mccarthy Hill, Tetegu, Melvin plus industrial area, Tantra Hill, Amasaman, Mamprobi, Antieku, Wesley Grammar, Ayigbe Town, Abyss, Banana Inn and ACP Estates.
Group 2: Power off during the day on May 12 and May 16. Power off off during the night on May 10 and 14
Lower McCarty,Mallam Gbawe,Agape junction,Bucashie,Santan marie, Abossey Okai, Mataheko,Dansoman ssnit flat,iron city ,Breku,New Aplaku,Kakraba,Red top , Bortianor and Tuba
Group 3, Power outages during the day on May 11, May 15, May 17 and power off at night on May 13
Nyamekye, Insakina, Odorkor Official town, Awoshie, Ordorgono, Mallam, Gbawe, Komkompe, Chorkor, Korlegonor, Kwashie but and Abeka Lapaz.
Group D – Power outages for May 13 and Power off during the night on May 11 May 15 and May 17
Odorkor, Saint Anthony, Shaman township, Onlogo, salaga market, CMB Flat, Mamprobi, Soko, Taifa, Ofankor, Asofa, Alhaji, Tabora, Chantan, Israel, Fadama, North Kaneshie, Mom’s, NIC top, Sowutuom, Ablekuma curve, Sukura, Kokrobite, and Bortiana.
