2 suspects arrested for allegedly killing popular #FixTheCountry campaigner.
The Ashanti Regional Police Command has reportedly arrested two suspects in connection with the murder of Ibrahim Mohammed, a popular social media #FixTheCountry activist, in the Ejura Municipality of the Ashanti region.
Speaking to the media, The Regional Police Public Relations Officer, ASP Godwin Ahianyo told the media that the suspects, Ibrahim Isssaka, also known as “Anyass” and Alhassan Fuseini were arrested on Monday, June 28, 2021 at 10:45 am.
He explained further that, according to an eye witness, the 45-year-old resident if the Dagombaline at Ejura was anbushed in front of his house when he was returning home.
He revealed that, the deceased, Ibrahim Mohammed, the popular #FixTheCountry campaigner was brutalised in his motorbike at about 1:30 pm on Sunday, 27 June 2021.
He was rushed to the Ejura Government Hospital but was later referred to the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital after the situation became severe.
Unfortunately, he gave up his soul after few minutes of his arrival at the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital.
The police are still conducting thorough investigations to get all perpetrators to book.
