A 60 – year’s – old man has been shot in the leg by four anonymous gun men who were on two motorbikes at the Coronation, in Cape Coast, the Central Region of Ghana.
According to reports, these four unknown gun men traced the man from the bank where he took the money to a hardware shop where he wanted to buy some building materials.
Further reports indicates that the four gun men did not prove any sign to make someone suspect them to be criminals. When they alighted from the motor, they walked gently to the hardware store as if they were also going to purchase some items.
Few minutes after they entered, they fired a gunshot and made away with an unspecific huge sums of money.
The Central Regional Police Command of the Ghana Police Service has said it has begun it’s investigations concerning this sadden incident and had promise to arrest these four gunmen and every associate perpetrator to book.
Meanwhile, the victim who had been shot in the leg has been sent to the Ewim Polyclinic to receive treat.
